Caliche Plaster Workshop |

Host volunteers and 10 descendants of Montalvo family for caliche plaster making workshop, to be included in documentary about the rediscovery of this lost art. Using fermented cactus juice as "glue" and caliche (ground limestone) as the aggregate, volunteers will attempt to make caliche plaster for the first time in decades. |

Two week workshop with lime plaster expert who will train local area masons how to make caliche plaster and lime wash. All interior walls previously repaired with new lathing strips, will be plastered with final finish. |
